Clock Makeover
I distressed my paper and ironed it out a little and used distress inks. I inked text with Perfect Pearls gold to make it shimmer in the right light.
The frame was painted and aged slightly.
At 12 and 6 I used 2 watchfaces from my collection. The 3 and 9 were rubons.
The tag moves freely behind the glass hanging on a brad that has a notch in it.

Mama’s Holiday Wish List Meme
TodaysMama (link to: http://bit.ly/tmwishlist) and GameStop (link to: http://bit.ly/gamestop10) are giving away a sleighful of gifts this holiday season and to enter I’m sharing this meme with you.
1. What is your holiday wish for your family?
We have several family members dealing with health issues, so my wish is for all of them to have some relief.
2. What is your Christmas morning tradition?
Christmas morning is breakfast and presents and off to the in-laws house for a big dinner and we are there the rest of the day.
3. If you could ask Santa for one, completely decadent wish for yourself, what would it be?
A vagabond cutting machine.
4. How do you make the holidays special without spending any money?
We make an event of decorating and getting everything ready for Christmas, we do it as a family and we know that what's really important is we are together.
5. What games did you play with your family growing up?
Uno, Life, Monopoly.
6. What holiday tradition have you carried on from your own childhood?
That Christmas Eve is spent with immediate family and gifts involving them are opened that night, then at home the girls get to choose 1 gift to open.
7. Where would you go for a Christmas-away-from-home trip?
Disneyworld or anywhere tropical.

One World One Heart
My comments on this post are not working for some reason, I checked my settings and they are supposedly ok. I will accept any comments on any of my posts for my giveaway until Feb. 15th. Just let me know you are in for the giveaway and I will check all my posts. Sorry for the inconvenience.
After just finding out a few days ago about One World One Heart, and taking some trips around the world, I decided that I wanted to join in on the fun.
If you would like to join in the fun, please go here: A Whimsical Bohemian, and find out all the details.
This excerpt comes from her website :
The original idea behind this giveaway event was to bring bloggers together from around the world who may never ordinarily meet. It closes the gap of the blog community and enables us to interact, discover new and wonderful people, and in the process possibly win a prize or many prizes along the way. 2007 had roughly 85-90 participants and many connections were made because of it......friendships that are still going strong. We had a strong showing the first year for sure, and then in 2008 we had just about tripled that number. In 2009 there were 911 participants, to say I was amazed is an understatement. 28 countries were represented in the 2009 event as well. This is more than wanting to win something.......that is only the means.......in the end it's about finding kindred spirits. Someone who may be fairly new to blogging, not sure how to navigate, find others and have others find them....Some are long time bloggers and in some cases well known in the blogging community. Whatever the case it brings all of them together. This is an INTERNATIONAL event that has and had participants from the US, Canada, France, Sweden, Germany, Finland, Malaysia, Brazil, The Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Scotland, Ireland, England,Wales, Slovenia and more. It transcends geographical location, socio economics, political affiliation, religious beliefs......it's a coming together like the giant community we are on this planet. If only it took a simple giveaway to create PEACE everywhere, in the mean time here we give from our hearts. We are not solving the worlds problems nor are we curing anything nor are we changing the world. We are merely generating a closer community between humans through blogging.
So.... Perhaps you have come from here:
or maybe from here:
You have now arrived here: BRR!!
Due to circumstances, I haven't been able to play with my blog a lot. But this year I am able to. In past posts are a swap I was in and a digital calendar I made. I will be adding quite a bit more of what I have done after OWOH. I have two teenage girls (14, 17). I dabble in all sorts of crafts. I am a student of many, master of none, but that's okay, I'm enjoying the ride!
My giveaway to 1 winner will be a handmade 6x6 board book. The winner can choose which book they want of the three below. Hopefully the winner will find one they like. I am showing just a few pictures from each book, but I can email the winner pictures of each of the books, each page, to help in their decisions.
I want to apologize in advance, because in my preview this looks a little wonky, but I am so unskilled at this that after several tries to fix, I am just going to go with it (my text is not going where I want).
maybe the winner would prefer the WISHES book
or perhaps the winner is like me and still has a few Christmas pictures that need a home
All you have to do is leave a comment!
Please leave a way for me to contact you (email or blog). If I cannot reach you, or have no way to contact you, I will have to redraw! This is open to bloggers everywhere.
Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again and have fun on your ride!
